Physical education & sports
play vital role in achieving the aims and objectives of Education.The
Institute is coming up beautifully in a sprawilling area of 27 Acres
with efforts to provide all modern facilities to the residents in the
campus. The students of our institute are provided with excellent
facilities and encouraged to take part in major competitions held in and
around , particularly in Engineering Institutions.
They also organize different sports competitions to imbibe leadership
qualities, team spirit and organizational skills. Our College has
organized several events during 2006-2007 academic session. The sports
year starts with the organization of the Inter College Tournaments in
various games i.e. badminton, basket ball, carrom, chess, cricket,
football, table tennis, volleyball and tennis. To provide facility of
indoor games like Table Tennis and Badminton to the students, college
has a big and well equipped sports hall in addition to different play
courts. For outdoor games, college sports complex comprises of various
grounds viz. Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho,
Basketball, Handball and a 400-meter Athletic Track. Every year in the
college, there is Athletic Meet in the college. The winning students are
awarded with Trophies, Certificates and Scholarships by the college
authority. |
